7: four points of human flourishing

The 4 parts of human flourishing include psycho spiritual, interpersonal, biological and worldly flourishing :


Each is described as follows:


Psycho spiritual: according to the text book there are three different types of fundamental development of the body, mind and spirit. These include emotional cognitive and conative development. In the instance of Psycho spiritual conative refers to the source of motivation. In cognitive the development progresses from reactive, conditioned, and self protective patterns to truth meaning and purpose. Finally emotional discusses the emotional development of our mind and the emotions that rule our life.


Interpersonal: In the interpersonal quadrant the divisions consist of personal, family and community. This describes the evolution from a ego centric mind to a worldly mind.


Biological: This is divided by fitness, nutrition, and self regulation. This regards the physical body and most denoted by diet and exercise and physical self awareness.


Worldly: Parts consist of generativity, social activism and work. This is most representative of environment and social involvement
